Spring Bags for the Keller Center offer Children a Little Joy during a Tough Time
Each spring, the BMC prepares spring "treasure" bags for the youngest victims who visit the Keller Center for Family Violence Intervention - children with signs of sexual abuse. The "treasure" bags are filled with small toys and books in an effort to provide a little cheer for the kids in an otherwise difficult time. With the help of many of our members and local businesses we gathered donations of DVDs and coloring books for the center and small toys, novelties and books for the "treasure" bags.
A heartfelt thank you to:
Combined, our efforts made this outreach project a success. Please know that the staff at the Keller Center is so grateful to the BMC for our contributions and these treasure bags will be very much appreciated by the children and families whom they serve.
